Dining was a highlight, from easygoing meals by the sea to the fine dining at Michelin-starred Pelagos. The food was consistently creative, varied, and impressive. The setting is beautiful, on a pine-covered peninsula along the Athenian Riviera, with lovely sea views and a quiet, secluded feel. It's still conveniently close to the heart of Athens. The Four Seasons Astir Palace has three private beaches, several pools, including a calm adults-only infinity pool, a world-class spa, tennis courts, and several excellent restaurants. You could happily spend days on the property. The staff bring warm, genuine Greek hospitality with real professionalism. Many went out of their way to get the details right, and the care felt personal. It's undeniably a luxury property with a premium price, but the setting, service, and overall experience make it feel justified. A remarkable retreat on the Athens Riviera.

The whole team made us feel so welcome. Maria took care of us at check-in, and the attentive bell staff looked after us throughout. At Mercato, the food was delicious and the service impeccable. Special thanks to Manos, Christos and Dimitra for their personal, warm care at breakfast, brunch, and dinner. The Taverna 37 team was fantastic too, and Brunilda made our evening especially memorable. Four Seasons Astir Palace is stunning, from its unique location and breathtaking views to the beautiful rooms, amazing spa, and memorable dining. It was an incredible stay from start to finish, and I'll definitely be back!

The Aegean Sea view made breakfast even better. The egg royale, with English muffin, smoked salmon, spinach, and silky hollandaise, was cooked perfectly. Juices were ultra-fresh, and there was a refined range of Greek specialties and excellent cheeses. The pâtisserie and viennoiserie showed real technical precision. Impeccable in every detail.
