Sofia, the person who checked us in, was kind and answered all my questions. She gets the one star. Blu Pine gets zero. I have never written a bad review before, but this stay was awful, and I am attaching a full photo of the bedroom with the unfolded towel. This is a real review, and the company can find my booking under my name. We had no reason to make anything up or pretend we hadn't moved in. That would only have caused trouble for us. Sofia explained that the cleaning hadn't been done properly. We don't know the cleaning company, and the number of previous guests doesn't matter to us. The apartment has a folding extra bed, a large couch, and a spacious room, but none of that supports the comments made about us. Our evidence is the photos and what Sofia told us. The bedroom window door was broken and wouldn't shut, so we had to keep the shutters closed day and night and felt unsafe. With Corona around, the dirtiness was especially unacceptable. The bedding was dirty, the towels were so worn they weren't even good for wiping the floor, and the kitchen appliances looked as if they hadn't been cleaned in years. The kitchen was dirty too, and there were food and drink marks and fingerprints on the table. The apartment hadn't been cleaned when we arrived. I was told the terrace furniture was broken, though new items had supposedly been ordered for the following week. Other Booking reviews say guests after us were told the same thing. In Athens, garden furniture is easy to buy at a tool market, and buying and delivering it would take two hours. They also blamed the mess on a family with four children staying the previous night, a heatwave, and a change of cleaning company. Those aren't my problems. The company made its problem mine. I had extra costs and lost time, and they refused to give me a full refund. I'm very angry about the whole incident. It's a pity the company never got back to me with a refund for the night we wanted to move in, since the apartment's condition wasn't our fault.

Sofia stayed up to welcome us almost until midnight when our flight was delayed, which we really appreciated. The apartment is reasonably priced, right in the middle of the posh district and less than a five-minute walk from the sea. Recommended.

Sofia was wonderful, friendly and helpful on WhatsApp. The apartment was clean, cute, well lit, and had all the amenities. The photos matched what we found, and the outdoor seating was super cozy for morning coffee. The location is fantastic, within walking distance of the restaurant street, the beach, and the lake. You do see a little sea from the balcony, but only a tiny bit, so I wouldn't call it a sea view. I barely slept all week, despite reading reviews that called the apartment quiet. Cars sped along the street right by the studio balcony in the middle of the night, Vespas revved at 3 AM, teenagers shouted in the street, and there was some strange loud beeping. Not a good place for restful nights or lazy mornings. Bring earplugs!

We stayed in two different properties in Vouliagmeni, and both felt like home. Sophia welcomed us and explained everything we needed to know. I'd highly recommend their properties.
