Apartment Marema

Maria made our nine-night stay feel so welcoming. She lives downstairs, which felt pleasant and familiar, and she cooked for us when we arrived, with drinks, olives, and vegetables from her garden. She was always available to help or offer advice, and we really enjoyed talking with her. The apartment was comfortable, lovingly furnished, and very clean, with two bedrooms and a small, well-equipped kitchen. It’s in a very quiet spot away from the main road. There are three apartments upstairs, and since we were the only guests, we had the whole upper floor to ourselves. The big back terrace has shade and views of the mountains and sea, and there’s also an outdoor shower and parking. Two very cute cats made themselves at home with us. The apartment terrace looks out to the sea and the middle finger of the Peloponnese. The beach is a short walk downhill, a beautiful narrow stretch of sand that feels almost private. Many locals leave their loungers, sun sails, and umbrellas there all season. A little farther along, three tavernas have loungers and umbrellas that are free if you buy a drink. We had a wonderful time and felt very comfortable. We’ll definitely return. Thank you for everything, dear Maria.
