Ydor Hotel & Spa

The room at Ydor Hotel & Spa was gorgeous, with a breathtaking view and an amazing overflow pool. I loved the carefully chosen interior design, which gives the whole place a luxurious feel. The staff were kind and helpful, and our stay was truly wonderful. It’s the sort of experience that stays with you after checkout.

We had a lovely stay at Ydor Hotel & Spa. The rooms and shared spaces have beautiful interior design, and our room had stunning views. Breakfast had lots of options. When we asked for room service, it arrived quickly and the staff were very polite. Everyone we met was relaxed, kind, and helpful from beginning to end.

The rooms are spacious, the views incredible, and the staff very kind. Room service was decent too. Still, this didn’t feel like a true five-star hotel. The place seemed understaffed, housekeeping was overwhelmed, and some requests made through the front of house weren’t fulfilled. Parking was a nightmare. The pools didn’t seem especially clean, and the spa didn’t appear to be operating, with the sauna and other things switched off. In all our hotel stays, this was the first time we were offered only 30 minutes for late checkout, even though we’d stayed four nights and were travelling with a baby. 3.5/5.

The room and property were lovely, and we really enjoyed the breakfast. The hotel’s design is beautiful too. We had a very pleasant stay. The one issue was that our room’s pool sat in the shade, so between that and the weather, we couldn’t enjoy it. If you book, try contacting the hotel to check that the pool at your room will get sun.
