The garden was pleasant and there’s parking, but we had a rough first night and didn’t sleep much because mosquitoes kept biting us. There were no anti-mosquito devices in the room, which is the first time I’ve found that in Greece. When we asked, we were told the windows had nets, but mosquitoes can still come through the door or when a window is opened briefly. The lady who greeted us was very unpleasant. We only got directions to the shop, Thomeas Travel, not to the hotel. The shop was closed, so we called and she told us to wait there. Then she got angry that we’d waited instead of going to the hotel, even though we hadn’t been given directions there. The room needed a few touch-ups too, the toilet seat was grubby and some paint was peeling. The bed was much too soft, we sank into it uncomfortably. There were no full curtains on the door or second window, so we were lucky to have sleep masks or we’d have woken at dawn.
