Papanestoras Apartments

The sunset panorama is stunning, and the apartments are spotless and really nicely renovated. Such a beautiful place to stay. If I return to Kardamily, I'll stay here again for sure. Sofia and Christos were so kind and helpful, too.

Sofia and her family made the stay especially lovely. They were warm and thoughtful while still respecting my privacy. She left a bottle of wine for my arrival, sometimes brought cake or ice cream, and even drove me to a few other beaches, so I didn't end up needing to rent a car. The hillside spot is wonderfully quiet, with a beautiful sea view and especially great sunsets. It's still a short walk to the village and beaches. The kitchen had everything I needed for cooking in the evenings. It was such a relaxing week, and I hope I can come back soon.

Sofia was thoughtful and easy to reach on Whatsapp whenever we had questions. The apartment was spotless and had everything we needed, even beach towels. Bed linen and bath towels were changed every three days, and there was plenty of drawer and hanging space for our clothes, which you don't often get in Greek rentals. The apartments sit in a lovely quiet spot, with beautiful views over Kardamili bay. A wonderful place for a holiday.

Sofia was a fantastic host, with all the information we needed, and the apartment was perfect. We loved Kardamyli and would happily return next year. The village has some excellent restaurants for different tastes and budgets. Our favourites were Elies, where we ate twice, Old Kardamyli Traditional restaurant, Tikla, Dioskoui and Kiki's. The photos are from our balcony or terrace. The apartment is about a seven-minute walk into the village, though the uphill walk back takes longer. We hired a car for the week, which I'd recommend if you want to explore the beautiful beaches nearby, around 7-15 minutes away by car. We visited Stoupa beach, but the crowds weren't our thing, and it felt a bit too "Daily Mail". Try Delfinia, Ritsa and Foneas beach instead.
