Rathimata villas

Akis, the owner, was kind and helpful, and we had a great time in villa Ialeira in late June 2022. The villa was clean, comfortable, private, well equipped, and had fabulous sea views and a superb private pool. It's about a 10-minute drive downhill to Stoupa, a pretty little seaside town, or 15 minutes to Kardamyli. There are wonderful beaches, restaurants, shops, and supermarkets in the area. Thank you, we hope to come back and stay again someday!

The WiFi didn't work at all, and we left after three days because there were cockroaches, both on the balcony and inside the kitchen. We had booked this particular accommodation through the platform for eight nights at the end of July 2025 for our family of four. The owner's response was awful. He said it was because we were in the countryside, then seemed to forget during the conversation that they had brought it back to him. His whole attitude was that we were the ones with the problem. We left as things stood and weren't compensated. We've visited Western Mani and its villages every year for summer holidays and excursions for the past ten years, and have never had a cockroach problem in other accommodation in this same place, even though it too was in the countryside. Those places were obviously cleaner and more careful. I consider the reviews on a well-known platform to be fictitious. Unsuitable. Not recommended!
