Theodora Apartments

We found Theodora herself charming, funny, and interesting. Theodora Apartments were comfortable, quiet, and spotlessly clean, with lovely sea views from the balconies. There's also a great choice of tavernas within a 15-minute walk, where we had excellent seafood. If you need somewhere outside the city but reasonably near Kalamata airport for a couple of nights, this worked perfectly.

Theodora is what makes this place extra special. She's such a warm, welcoming host, and we felt right at home. The village is enchanting, with peaceful beaches nearby and sea views from the balcony. Before we even left, we'd decided to return next year. A magical place, absolutely recommended. Thank you for everything, Theodora ❤️

The hosts were perfect, and their tips on what to see are well worth following. There's a perfect spot for snorkeling right in front of the studios, and the sea view is perfect too. Strongly recommended!

We had a great week at Theodora Apartments. The apartment was spotless and just right for a couple, with a small kitchen, a large fridge, air conditioning, and a big balcony looking over the bay. The bathroom and furniture were simple but in good condition, and we could park right outside. The sea was super clean, and the beach was a five-minute walk away. It was sometimes nearly empty, so we could really relax. Don't expect busy beaches or noisy tourist entertainment. Theodora was also incredibly friendly and helpful, always making us feel welcome and sharing ideas for trips, shopping, and restaurants. When forest fires meant we couldn't continue to Mati, she couldn't fit us in for an extra night, but helped us find a nice little room in Akrogiali. That kind of extra help says a lot. There are three restaurants and a gyros takeaway within walking distance if you don't want to cook. We found a traditional tavern with Greek dishes, a more gourmet-style restaurant, and an Italian one. If you're after a calm place to take some time off, this is it.
