A very good apartment, one of the best I’ve stayed in for this category, with just a few minor issues. The view is breathtaking, it’s nice and cosy, and the service was kind and helpful. There’s a good beach below the apartment, with free sunbeds for guests. A few basics were missing, including a dry mop, microwave, and basic spices, salt, and sugar. The shower pressure wasn’t great, and the wi-fi could be better.

We only stayed one night while passing through, and the room had everything we needed. The balcony was lovely, though the frosted glass divider between neighboring rooms meant it wasn't very private.

The couple who run the place are lovely, and the quiet location feels tucked away while still being convenient. Most sights on the south island are about 20 minutes away. We really enjoyed our stay. The walls are a little thin: a family with young kids next door was noisy for two nights, but it didn't go on for long.

The hosts were kind and ready to help. There’s also a cute Gekko living near the hotel. If you happen to be quiet and lucky, you might spot it after sunset.

The view from the clean rooms is amazing, and the hosts are really nice and polite. They don't speak much English, but we still managed to get directions. Argassi, the nearest town, is about 6 km away, roughly a 1.5-hour walk or 10 minutes by car. The windmill tavern is nearby, and there's a grocery store about a 15-20 minute walk away.
