Paramythenio Guesthouse

Giota and Kostas were warm, hospitable hosts, always ready with information and suggestions. The location is peaceful and picturesque, yet close to the center for walks. We stayed Saturday and Sunday in the "Rapunzel" room at Paramythenio Guesthouse, and it was elegant, cozy and carefully looked after, with spotless cleanliness and lovely decor. Breakfast was very good and high quality, and the fireplace area had a special atmosphere. The guesthouse really lives up to its name. We’ll choose it again and recommend it without hesitation. We found the location just right, near cafes and restaurants but still peaceful enough to relax. The room was neat and very clean, with lovely decor and a magnificent view. The hosts were friendly, kind and always willing to help, and breakfast had plenty of tasty options chosen with care. It was a stay well worth having.

The nature and the view are amazing, they couldn’t be more beautiful. The rooms, though, feel dated and inadequate in 2025. Back in the Sleeping Beauty era they may have been fine, but now even a small renovation would help them match the lovely fairytale idea of the place. At 120-150€ a night for a simple room, that stood out more. Breakfast was disappointing too, and I wouldn’t choose it again. Even a cheese pie from the neighborhood bakery would have been more filling.

We were happy with the location, which is quite good and accessible. The rooms were warm and spotlessly clean, and the hosts were polite, helpful and ready to do whatever they could. I’d recommend it without hesitation, and we’ll choose you again.
