Belvedere Gerakas Lux. Suites

There are some really good local restaurants within an easy walk, and the hotel's shared areas were great. It’s a lovely choice for a quiet break. Our room was clean and looked after, but I think we got one of the older rooms while some have been updated. The mattress was awful, like trying to sleep on concrete.

We ate both breakfast and dinner at the hotel buffet. Some dishes came back regularly, but there were different things each day too, so there was plenty to choose from. The person running the restaurant at dinner was especially polite, friendly, and helpful. Staff generally were welcoming, and housekeeping tidied and cleaned our room every day. The setting is lovely and quiet, with a few restaurants just down the road. The pool area looks updated and is very nice, and the view from the restaurant and breakfast area is spectacular. Our room matched its description and had a great balcony view, good air conditioning, and even a little fridge with a freezer. The bed was quite firm and the sofa bed not very comfortable, though that’s subjective.

Gerakas Beach nearby was one of the most beautiful beaches on the island, absolutely stunning. The hotel surroundings are peaceful, with birdsong as the main sound. It made for a very relaxing break. The property is attractive and well cared for, and the rooms are cleaned each day and kept tidy, though there are a few small signs of wear. Breakfast had a tasty range of choices. By the pool there were plenty of loungers and umbrellas, plus a bar for drinks and snacks. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely week here and the balcony views were beautiful. There was a wifi problem, and they upgraded our room for free. The staff are so, so friendly. Konstantina, Spiros, and Nicole at reception were especially helpful and lovely. Breakfast was great with loads of variety. Would absolutely recommend, and can’t wait to come back 😁
