Cavo Orient Beach Hotel & Suites

We’ve only been here three days, but already it’s a memory I’ll never forget. Luckily we have another five days to go, and tomorrow we’re looking forward to seeing the blue caves. My husband and I came for our honeymoon and fourth anniversary, and this is the most amazing place I’ve ever visited. Everyone here has been incredibly kind, helpful, and fun. We’re staying in the Euphoria honeymoon suite, and it’s amazing. On arrival, we were greeted with smiles and kindness, then found champagne, wine, several charcuterie boards, balloons, and a special note waiting for us. I cried with happiness. It was perfect. For our anniversary, the staff went to great effort to create a really romantic setting. Kiki from guest relations especially went above and beyond to plan it. The chef made us grilled prawns and fruit salad, sea bass ceviche, lobster pappardelle, and homemade baklava. The food and service were incredible, with lovely conversation and laughs. I’m so grateful, and we immediately wanted our waiter to join us at the table. Kiki also took care of getting us goggles and sea shoes for the ocean. We didn’t have to lift a finger. Every morning and throughout the day at the buffet, Chris and Yanis had big smiles and great conversations that always made our day. We went to the bar for all-inclusive drinks quite a lot, and George always made us smile and mixed some incredible drinks. Our favorite is the Pina Colada, 100%! Thank you to everyone for being part of such a special time in our lives. We feel so cared for and will definitely come back. I hope anyone reading this gets to visit too.

We rented a well-maintained scooter from Sofi at Sun and Sea Zante, less than 100 meters from the hotel, and explored the island at our own pace. Her suggestions, along with the hotel manager’s tips, helped us find lovely places and hidden gems, and even enjoy an evening trip to the main town. The manager was kind and helpful, and personally shared ideas for things to do around the island. The setting is calm and relaxing, with a little church and a beautiful sea viewpoint just a short walk away. In front of the hotel, the beach has soft grass instead of hot sand, a gentle way into the crystal-clear sea, and amazing sunrises. The pool area was always well kept too. Our room was spacious, spotless, modern, and well equipped, with an ocean and sunrise view. It was cleaned every day and fresh towels were provided. The buffet was varied, fresh, and delicious, with something for everyone, and we enjoyed every meal. Nearly every evening had live music from different bands, creating a great atmosphere without being too loud. Most of all, the whole staff welcomed my mom and me with genuine warmth from the moment we arrived. Everyone was friendly and ready to help, and we felt completely at home. We can’t recommend Cavo Orient Zakynthos enough. It was an unforgettable stay with a beautiful location, excellent service, and clean, modern facilities. We’d gladly return. The location was beautiful, and we loved snorkeling in the sea right beside the hotel, where there were lots of fish to see. We also enjoyed relaxing by the pool bar with its amazing view. We had a swim-up room and thought it was lovely. We came for five days with our two youngest teenage children. Every staff member we met was friendly, professional, and hardworking, and did whatever they could to make the holiday relaxing and enjoyable. We were all inclusive, and the food was plentiful and fresh. We’d love to come back.

There were a few small maintenance problems, like cracks and something broken here and there, but they should be easy to fix. Otherwise, everything felt well balanced and sufficient. There wasn’t the overwhelming amount of food you sometimes get at Turkish hotels that can leave you unsure what to eat or drink. The staff made us feel wrapped in warmth and comfort, like kind parents, with their smiles and delicious food. It was always a pleasure to chat with them about the weather, children, or anything else. We left with only the best feelings about our stay.
