The reception ladies were really nice, and the barman seemed to be doing his best, but I can’t recommend this hotel. The problem wasn’t a lack of luxury. It was the noise and filth. We came hoping for a quiet seaside holiday with a lovely sandy beach and clean natural surroundings. The sea water was awesome, but almost everything else was terrible. Bass music from the hotel restaurant, bar, and beach bar played all day. Reading or even gathering my thoughts on the beach was impossible, and I could hear it in our room. I ended up with a constant headache. The public beach is beside the hotel and has its sunbeds, yet it was dirty and the hotel didn’t keep it clean. The paid beds were neglected too, with stained mattresses and splintered wooden bases. The beach by the hotel isn’t really sandy, and you need special shoes to enter the water there. A nice sandy stretch is 50m away, next to an even louder, bigger beach restaurant. Filth seemed to be everywhere. There was rubbish stuck in the kitchen window. The dining room fan was nearly black with dirt and kept spreading it around the eating area. The septic tank cover was in the middle of the dining room, and the pipe ran right through the dining and bar area. One day they emptied the tank just 15 minutes before dinner, while some food was already on trays 2 metres away. The smell reached the top-floor balconies and was still there when dinner began. We also saw rats twice, one on the bar terrace in the evening, then two on the beach during the day, beside the sunbeds and showers. Our room was awful. It had no table, chairs, laundry drier, or hairdryer, and the sloping roof meant we couldn’t stand straight across most of it. Even the door was cut at an angle. It felt like Harry Potter in his closet under the stairs. The room was very dark, with such a weak bulb that I needed my phone flashlight to see into the cupboard or suitcase. There was a bedside lamp, but its shade was broken, dirty, and full of dead insects. The balcony rails were rusty, so hanging white towels there was out of the question. The shower drain clogged constantly, leaving us standing in water after two minutes. The washbasin drain looked just as bad, with hair from previous guests clearly visible. The food was terrible, and I don’t mean just the taste, which is personal. It seemed to ignore basic nutritional and cooking standards. Vegetables were overcooked, fish or potatoes could be half raw, and dishes were also burnt, greasy, or often served cold. Nothing was labelled, so if you have allergies or are vegan, good luck.

The seaside location is probably the hotel’s strongest point. It’s right by the water, though reaching a main road means a bit of a tedious hike. Without a car, getting more than 3 Km from the hotel is a problem, since the local bus seemed not to exist. The beach itself is nice. The rooms are okay, but nothing special. They have AC, clean beds as far as I could tell, and fairly nice balconies on the top floors, most or perhaps all with a sea view. The mini fridge right beside the toilet is off-putting, and the shower curtain’s yellow “foot fungus” color is unpleasant. Service felt weird. As an all-inclusive guest, staff seemed to watch us, and if a plate was left for even a few seconds, they took it away whether it still had food on it or not. The staff are all women, dressed in anything from a T-shirt and leggings to what looked like a hospital gown, despite a sign asking guests to dress properly. It gave the place more of a mental hospital feel than a hotel. The buffet selection was questionable. The food changes daily, but breakfast was the only meal I could say I liked every day, since there were eggs. Lunch or dinner could sometimes be pretty good, like when there was souvlaki or pizza for people with limited taste. Mostly, though, it was mystery meat in questionable sauce with no sign saying what you were about to eat. We once asked reception for an extra blanket. Twenty minutes later, an odd Ukrainian cleaner came to our door with two sheets instead. She said, “No, no have,” then spat an icecube into a cup while trying to be discreet and failing. She switched to speaking entirely in Ukrainian and abruptly left. Sunbeds on the beach cost 10€ farther from the water or 15€ closer to it. When you take one, a strange man turns up to tell you what you owe. The location is good, but if your standards are a bit low, go for it. If you want luxury, this isn’t the place.

The food was tasty, though a little repetitive, and it was nearly impossible to leave the restaurant hungry. My daughter liked the desserts, hot dishes, and salads, while my husband especially enjoyed the pasta and sauce. When we left at the end of the week, they prepared food for the trip. Thanks to the manager and cooks for that. The rooms left a lot to be desired, but they were fine for a three-star hotel. The staff were friendly, polite, and seemed sincere. The hotel manager was cheerful and kind, and even helped arrange a better room. Nicolas the bartender stood out too, you could see the older man was doing his best. We also liked the cocktails and bar. The hotel pleasantly surprised my family and me. Čedok's trip was very well organized, from departure and arrival to check-in, everything worked like clockwork. Sometimes the music was too loud and repetitive, but it was okay. A solid 4 out of 5.

A lovely little hotel in a beautiful part of Zakynthos. The rooms are kept clean, the food is delicious, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Mr George, the manager, is always around and gets problems sorted quickly so everyone can enjoy their hard-earned holiday.

(Beach Only Review) The sea is beautiful, and the manager is a thoughtful, customer-oriented gentleman who deserves high praise. The place itself was a disappointment. The toilets are in bad shape, and the coffee is poor quality and unnecessarily expensive at 5€. The menu is attached, and there’s no breakfast included with limited options. The 6€ toast was really bad and shouldn’t be on the menu if the quality stays like that. It’s mostly families, so it won’t suit you if you want a different atmosphere. Sunbeds cost 30€ in the front row and 20€ in the second, and so on. PS: Don’t let TikTok influence you into coming here.
