Anna and her family were very kind and helpful, and we felt at home in this comfortable, well-equipped place. Of all the places we’ve stayed on the island, this was easily the best. It’s a great base for some of Kefalonia’s best beaches, and we’d definitely come back. Thanks for everything.

The surrounding nature is still unspoiled, and all the nearby beaches are beautiful. It’s peaceful here, with roosters waking you in the morning and goat bells during the day, so it’s a lovely spot if you want quiet and a taste of traditional Greece. The studio feels like home, with comfortable, storybook-like furniture that makes everything feel warm and pleasant. Ms. Katerina is so nice, Mr. Christos enjoys chatting about the life they used to have, and their daughter Anastasia is a great guide for any information you need.

We arrived by boat and called the host to ask if they could give us a lift up from the port, about 1.8 km and 200 m of elevation. They said they might be able to take our bags, but not us, because they only had a small Ford Focus with baby seats. We agreed to wait for them to collect the luggage, but after an hour no one came. We made the half-hour climb with our bags in 40°C heat and found the host relaxing in the shade. They could have suggested a car or scooter rental and offered the kind of guidance you’d expect from a welcoming host, but instead just said we should have come by car. We also asked where to get gas for the boat. They said they didn’t know and told us to ask around at the port and sort it out ourselves. There was a gas station just ten minutes away by car, and we would have paid them whatever it cost to take us there, but they had no interest in helping. The place is nice, but the people were awful. I paid for the full week, stayed one night, then left. I hope my money brings you nothing good. After their reply, I want to add that I have a WhatsApp screenshot where you said you’d pick us up and told us to wait. If you’d simply said you were sorry but couldn’t do it, there wouldn’t have been a problem. Friends of mine traveling in Italy had a delayed flight and their host picked them up from the airport at 3 AM for free. You still have a lot to learn about hospitality.

Amazing stay! The hospitality, lovely accommodation, and views were all so good that we didn’t want to leave. Thanks for everything, Anastacia and Mom. Hope we see you again soon!
