El Calvario Lofts

I felt safe here thanks to the secure indoor parking and the overall setup. El Calvario Loft exceeded my expectations, with cozy, modern rooms that are very well maintained and a breathtaking volcano view from the terrace. The hosts were attentive and made sure I had everything I needed. There’s a fully equipped kitchen, and the prices are great. A perfect spot to relax and enjoy Antigua.

Casa (no 2) has a lot of potential, but it isn’t being used fully. It was quite dirty and smelly, especially the downstairs bathroom, where the toilet pipes smelled horrible. There’s a terrace, but only one table and no chairs. There weren’t enough glasses or cutlery for four people, and what was there was dirty. The staff are friendly and the location is quite OK, but for now I wouldn’t recommend it.

A spacious, pleasant apartment with two large bedrooms and two handy bathrooms, plus a very useful parking space. It was clean and functional, with a subtle charm that made it feel welcoming. A good choice for a comfortable stay without unwelcome surprises.

It’s a modern, pleasant place with some nice cultural details. The rooms were tidy and the beds comfortable. The kitchen is basic and doesn’t have enough equipment for more than a simple breakfast. It’s somewhat far from the center, but the area is quiet, good for resting, and pleasant to walk around. We asked for some basic supplies that the Airbnb listing said would be there, and they brought them fairly quickly. Check before booking that the paid washer and dryer are available on site. They weren’t working for us, so we were sent to a laundromat.
