Nico Hotel

The staff were simply fantastic. Everyone did their best to make me feel at home, and they can arrange airport transfers, too. It's a really nice place to stay, close to the markets and one of the main squares.

The rooms are spacious, and breakfast was included and delicious. It's about a 10 minute walk to everything. Cecilia and the rest of the staff were so kind and helpful with everything. I had an amazing stay and would definitely book this hotel again when I come to Antigua.

The safety guard and night guard helped us feel very safe, and the staff were friendly and helpful. After a delicious breakfast, they even cleaned a pair of trousers for us with a nasty red salsa stain. We had a great experience at Nico Hotel and would stay again.

I had to cut my stay at Nico Hotel short because I found visible mold on the walls of my room. It seemed like a serious health and safety issue, and the room felt unsafe and uninhabitable, not just a bit unclean. I reported it as soon as I found it and sent photos to the hotel and Expedia. I followed up twice, including with a direct WhatsApp message to the property, but got no response, help, acknowledgment, or offer to move rooms. Since the room didn't feel safe and the hotel wouldn't communicate, I had to leave early. I didn't receive the service I'd paid for, and their silence was extremely disappointing.
