Our suite had several rooms and was very spacious. It came with filtered water and a coffee machine. The hotel is cute, though a little far from central Antigua: expect a 15-20 minute walk to the historic area. I wouldn't suggest walking there at night, since there weren't many people around or many streetlights.

We had a ground-floor villa for two nights. It was spacious, though the bathroom shower was quite small. The place had a strong musty smell, and many areas hadn't been dusted. There was no AC, just a plug-in fan, and the villa felt outdated. With some renovation and better cleaning upkeep, it could be a much nicer place. It's about a 20-minute walk to the part of Antigua with restaurants and shops, or a 30-35Q Uber ride.

There are plenty of fans to use, which helped since there isn't any air conditioning. The staff were warm and welcoming, and brought us towels and whatever else we needed. From the shared balcony you get a great view of part of the city and the volcano. Villas de la Emita was clean, comfortable, and spacious enough for me and three friends. It's around a 15-minute walk, or a five-minute drive, to the town center and its restaurants, with lots of food choices along the way.

Santa Ana was a nice place to stay, although getting to central Antigua takes about 20 minutes on foot. The first few minutes follow a busy road with lots of chicken buses, but there's a sidewalk, so it felt perfectly safe. The route passes several nice squares and churches. The hotel itself had large rooms in great condition, attractively decorated and with a well-equipped kitchen. The terrace had amazing views, and the courtyard and pool were lovely.

The room was spacious, the courtyard beautiful, and the people working there were wonderful. I'd highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Antigua.
