A quiet neighborhood, spotless sheets, a comfortable mattress, and hot water made for a lovely stay. Breakfast was wonderful, the view was lovely, and the service was excellent. It’s a perfect place to arrive in Guatemala City. I’ll be back.

The owner was very friendly and helpful, and we had a really comfortable stay. The room is warm and the kitchen has everything you need. There’s also a mini market about a two-minute walk away where you can get food. David

I only needed a short night here, but this booking turned the trip into a nightmare. My flight was delayed, so I expected to check in around 1 a.m. After the stated business hours, the host stopped responding. Once I was nearby I called and messaged several times for directions and got no answer. The place is hard to reach at night, and the house was even harder to find in the residential area. There’s no parking, so guests have to leave their cars on the street. I finally located it at 2:30 a.m. and had to leave for work at 5:30. My main reason for writing is the handling of guest information. I learned that my name, phone number, nationality, race, and other personal details had been shared with several people in the area who came to the hotel asking for them. I called and Natalie, the host, confirmed she had shared my information with those people. When I asked what legal basis there was for this, she said she could do it in this country without a guest’s permission. I believe that is incorrect, and it was a serious safety and privacy violation. I posted a review on Expedia, which the hotel reported. I then contacted Expedia and filed a formal complaint about the property sharing guests’ personal information with anyone who comes to the door and asks for it.

The house has a beautiful view and really fast wifi, and it’s only about five minutes from the airport. Natalia offered a free ride there, so I didn’t have to worry about delays getting to my flight. My room was comfortable and super clean, and the staff were very kind. They made me the best breakfast I had during my time in Guatemala. Even though I booked at the last minute, Natalia answered all my questions beforehand and replied to messages promptly, which I really appreciated. I arrived after hours, and she sent clear instructions for finding the house and my room. The whole experience was amazing, and I can’t wait to visit again. Thanks to Natalia and the staff!
