The location worked perfectly for my trip, and I'd happily stay here again. My room was quiet and very clean, with a super comfortable bed. There were also a fridge, coffee maker, and teapot. The lobby has lots of interesting spots to gather, with a restaurant at one end and a bar at the other.

This was my third stay at Hyatt Guatemala, and also my last stay at any Hyatt. I had prepaid for four nights through Expedia, but needed to change the trip to just ONE (1) night so I could fly back to NY. I told the front desk about the change before checking in and expected a partial refund. They said Hyatt's no-refund policy applied because I checked in. Why let me check in at all? I could have booked one night separately and cancelled the prepaid four-night reservation for a refund.

There are plenty of restaurants and places to eat nearby, and the hotel is in a good area. The pool service and front desk were both amazing. They arranged late checkout for an extra $75. I'd definitely come back.

The rooms are spacious, comfortable, beautifully designed, and have every amenity I could want. I also loved the food and the rooftop pool is amazing. I wish the dinner buffet would return, though the breakfast buffet is fantastic. I absolutely love this gorgeous hotel.

We were just passing through and spent two nights here. The rooms were comfortable and really clean, and the shared amenity areas were kept up well. Staff looking after those areas were attentive. There are also lots of restaurants within walking distance.
