The view was gorgeous, and the staff were very friendly when we arrived. The food was decent, though I’d definitely suggest trying the yummy street food. Our room smelled damp, probably because there was no exhaust fan, so we kept the door open most of the time for fresh air. We also had a room problem and waited about an hour for the maintenance guy after asking at the front desk. Once he arrived, he fixed it pretty quickly. At night it was very loud, with paper thin walls, so we didn’t get amazing sleep.

We loved the views and how close it was to the ferry stop. The location was great, and I only wish we’d booked a longer stay.

The room was spotless and we got a really good rest, with a great view of Lake Atitlan. There’s also a coffee shop here. 10/10, I recommend it.

The setting and grounds are beautiful, and our room was spacious with a wonderful spot by the lake. But the service left such a bad impression that I wouldn’t stay again. Housekeeping left our room service dishes and leftover food in the room for three days. They also kept pushing us to eat at their restaurant and were very strict about outside food and drinks. My daughter was even hassled for bringing back a can of pop. They wanted 250Q just to open a bottle of wine I’d bought at a store. Gross, and really unfortunate given how lovely the location is.

I just bought a day pass this time, and it was amazing to enjoy that beautiful view for such a low price.
