Los Hondos Hondas stays here every time we visit Copan. I’ve been here three times now. The staff are great, and there’s secure off-street parking for cars and motorcycles. The rooms are small but clean, quiet, and cool, and the whole place feels safe and secure. The parrot is awesome, though it may or may not attack if you get too close.

Hot water and plumbing worked fine, and the staff were great. We did have problems with the power staying on during our visit, though. Internet access was also an issue, so I’d suggest finding somewhere else if you need to be online. With young kids, please keep the noise down, since the walls are thin and sound carries.

The staff were very friendly and seemed to be making an effort, but the service wasn’t quite there yet. We’d heard the place had closed and was now under new management. After we returned from a day out, the bed hadn’t been made and our used, wet towels were still in the room.

We were in Copan on business and stayed one night in a standard double. We were happy with the price, staff, room, and common areas. Don Udo`s has what you need for a comfortable, clean stay: wifi, AC, a ceiling fan, proper hot water, a hair dryer, good quality bedding, and a decent-sized room.
