The only real plus was being roughly a five-minute walk from “downtown,” though hotel Marina is even closer and I’d suggest staying there instead. My family and I had a bad stay here. The bathroom was cramped, and the water fixture and shower tops were loose and badly installed. The TV wouldn’t work; someone came after we asked for help but didn’t fix it, then said they’d go speak to someone and never returned. The AC was out too, and the staff were very negligent.

There were plenty of planted flowers, which was about the one bright spot. A friend recommended this hotel, but the rooms felt cramped and the TV remote didn’t work. Breakfast was scant and poor quality. The pool had a sign saying no alcohol, yet a guy sat in one corner with a six-pack the whole time my kids wanted to swim. Getting in and out of the parking area was really difficult.

The town is beautiful and has the feel I hoped Copan Ruinas would have. The hotel is about a five-minute walk from downtown, and it was an OK place for the experience. I may be a little harsh with three stars, but don't judge it by big city hotel standards or you'll be disappointed. Enjoy the stay for what it is.

The rooms were comfortable and had bathrooms, and the location was good. There are loads of rooms, plus a nice rooftop and a pool, though the water looked murky enough that I didn't go in. More power outlets for charging would be useful.

It’s a low-cost, family-run hotel with a pool and AC in the rooms. The people were friendly and went out of their way to help make the trip wonderful. The third-floor terrace has hammocks and 360-degree views.
