The gardens were tidy and mosquito-free, and the hotel clearly cares about the environment, with recycling bins, laundry guidance, and water bottles in the rooms. We had a restful night, and the staff were warm and helpful.

All 20 of us had reliable hot water every day, which can be hard to find, and the rooms had a quaint feel. We ate well at every meal, and the WiFi was excellent. The restaurant has lovely views over Gracias, and Froni and her staff were amazing.

The hotel has a good spot overlooking town and the surrounding area, and breakfast came with tasty food and very good coffee. The room was adequate, though a little tight, and the bathroom could be better. They seem to host a lot of American missionary groups. One group was there during our stay, and they were extremely loud. Their announcements about the Hondurans they had come to visit felt very unpleasant and disparaging.

Carla looked after us wonderfully, and the owner was thoughtful and accommodating. We had a truly restful, memorable vacation, and I hope to come back someday. My daughter and I stayed eight days while visiting friends and trying nearby activities like zip lining, thermal waters, and hiking. The lush tropical foliage made the place feel peaceful and beautiful. Our clean, cozy room had no air conditioning, but the nights were cool when we visited in late December, and there was a powerful ceiling fan. The water ranged from warm to hot depending on when we bathed. We ate breakfast at the restaurant every day, which was included, and also had lunch and a few dinners there. Everything was delicious.
