Really welcoming and helpful, with good rates and accommodations for backpackers traveling through Central America. One thing for the owners, if they happen to see this: when we were there in February 2018, a new resort about a five-minute drive away was offering food and drinks in exchange for a beach photo shoot for its website. If anyone knows the resort’s name, please let me know. I’d love to see the photos from that day!

The shared kitchen and living room are really nice, and it’s a quiet spot about a 10-minute walk from the center of West End. I got good information about the area, and it’s good value for the price. The dorms could use more ventilation and electrical outlets. Bring mosquito repellent.

We booked a private room and found it cozy, and the beach is amazingly close. A great place to spend the night, and probably my favorite hostel on the island. Thanks, Sophie and Vicky!

Loved the vibe here. The kitchen has an oven, which I absolutely loved, and there’s a beautiful yoga area upstairs. It’s nice and clean, and the staff are sweet. Best hostel in Roatan, stay here if you’re visiting.

There are lots of oceanfront restaurants, bars, and dive shops around, and it’s a short walk to beautiful West End beach. You can also walk or take a cheap ride to West Bay. There’s no A/C, though it didn’t feel like you really needed it here.
