Our group of 15 had a great stay at Caribe Tesoro. The larger suites and villas gave us room to gather, with full-size working kitchens, while the restaurant and bar were just steps away. We liked being at the far eastern end of West Bay: the busy beach, restaurants, and activities are one way, while walking past Las Rocas toward Gumbalimba Park leads to quieter stretches. The dock was a highlight, with a view across the beach and a lovely place for breakfast. Water taxis between West End and the hotel pull right up there. The restaurant food was consistently fresh and tasty, and the staff were friendly and accommodating.

Jane, the reservations manager, made everything so easy and was especially helpful. We had a wonderful vacation at Caribe Tesoro, and I'd happily stay there again.

The bar and restaurant teams were great, but reception service was very poor. We spent three nights in a two-room suite without hot water. Nobody explained what in-room amenities we could use, and we were charged $8 at checkout for a coffee we thought came with the coffee machine. The pool area also felt dangerous, and a couple of people were hurt. Construction was going on throughout our stay, which would've been useful to know in advance so we could plan. At $160-180 a night, the small details matter. Management should work on those. The bar and restaurant staff deserve a shout-out, though, they were amazing.

We had a really comfortable week in the Sirena Suite at Caribe. Being near the pool and bar didn't make it noisy, as I'd expected. The laid-back setting at the end of West Bay suited us: away from the busiest part of the beach but still close to everything. The staff were wonderful, especially Renee at the bar. He was one of the kindest people we've met and makes great drinks. He deserves the praise.

The location made it easy to walk to plenty of restaurants and bars, and we definitely plan to return. The pool was refreshing and well cared for. Staff were friendly and regularly checked that we were happy, while housekeeping came by daily and kept both our room and the outside porch very clean.
