We spent a week at TBH for our babymoon and loved our stay. The location made it easy to explore local places, with restaurants, bars, shops, and diving options nearby. The rooms were spacious, modern, and boho in style. The staff were warm, kind, attentive, and generous. Special thanks to Raquel, Paola, Kathy, and Henry, who were all fun and friendly to talk with. Our toddler son was sick and missing home, and they kept trying to cheer him up and entertain him. Raquel even organized toddler-friendly activities with him. We also really enjoyed the restaurant’s food and service. Our favorites were the whole fish, poke bowl, and tuna tataki, and the mocktails were great. Their local connections were another perk: we took a wonderful island tour with Alex and a boat trip with Captain Reagan. It felt well worth the price. Now that we’re home, we miss our time at TBH and can’t wait to come back.

The staff and hotel made it feel like a home away from home. The location is hard to beat: everything is walkable, Sun Divers is right next door, and so is Sundowners, with happy hour, trivia, live music, and good food. There are grocery stores and gift shops nearby too. The hotel also puts on dockside movies at night and occasional other events. If you dive, staying here and using Sun Divers is especially convenient. We spent five days and six nights at The Beach House. Alex, the scheduled car service driver, met us just outside customs with a sign saying “The Beach House,” quickly loaded us and our luggage, and chatted about Roatan on the ride to West End. At check-in, receptionist Rachel greeted us warmly, took our details, and showed us to the room. Room 14 was amazing, with great views, spotless condition, dual showers, a vaulted ceiling, private balcony, and a very comfortable bed. We met bartenders Brittany and Jasper at the welcome drinks, and they made us feel like regulars. They were personable, always greeted us with a smile and a bit of banter, and made killer cocktails, so we went back daily. Dendry also stood out for his infectious positive attitude and service. He was quick with food and drinks, remembered how we liked our breakfast coffee, made sure we got to our dives on time, and asked about them when we returned. Harrison, one of the servers, was fun to be around, always making us laugh and offering suggestions when we wanted to go out. Try The Sunken Fish if you can, though Mila Del Mar at the hotel was fantastic too. The Beach House felt on par with a five-star hotel on West Bay, with little touches that made us feel like VIPs. It was an outstanding stay, and the place is worth booking.

It’s a beautiful place, and our room was great, with a lovely bathroom that was well equipped. The location is convenient if you want to be near everything the west end offers. The restaurant staff were warm and wonderful, but the hotel staff were disappointingly unfriendly. The beach chairs could use updating. A couple of fishing boats played music for the beach while waiting for customers, with questionable taste and partly blown speakers. Friendlier, warmer hotel staff would really complete the experience.

The water in Half Moon Bay stays calm thanks to the reef at its entrance, and the beach is usually quiet on weekdays, though it gets lively on weekends. Beach House sits in a less crowded part of West End, with the main area just a short walk away. We loved the beautiful rooms, the excellent on-site restaurant, and the friendly, helpful staff. Dive shops are all around, and the Cayman trench is just offshore, so there are no long boat rides.

We were here last week and honestly, this is the best place to stay. The staff are so warm and friendly, they make you feel like family. The food was excellent and the service spot on. 20 out of 20.
