The owner is VERY friendly and thoughtful. He gave us a short tour of the city and talked about the famous places, the history, and other helpful things. His English is great, so keep that in mind if you don’t speak Spanish. The room was clean and nice, though I thought it was a little overpriced. Still, I believe it’s worth a stay because of the great location, with Power Chicken, City Mall, and the main bus station nearby, and the excellent owner.

We had an unexpected overnight stop on our way to Roatan, and this little inn turned out to be a great find. The owner made everything easy: he picked us up at the airport and took us back the next morning for $20 each way, so we didn’t have to deal with the taxi drivers approaching us or figure out transport ourselves. On both trips he took us somewhere to get food, and he also brought us to a pharmacy so my wife could pick up a few things she needed. The hotel was nice, safe, and reasonably priced at $60/night. After all the stresses of the day, my wife and I were extremely grateful. If you have a few minutes, check out the owner’s impressive handmade models.
