The internet was steady, and it’s very private, so I could work in peace. Seems like a good choice for a short family trip to the city.

There isn’t actually a restaurant here, which meant we missed a meal one night and had to order food the next. At checkout, they tried to overcharge me for meals and drinks. Then, after I’d left, staff charged $56 to my credit card for alleged “damages,” without evidence or any notice. My bank contacted them, they couldn’t justify the charge, and the bank reversed it. I wouldn’t pay by credit card here, since they may charge you after you leave. I also saw what looked like hidden cameras in some rooms. I don’t recommend this place, especially for foreigners.

The food was excellent, though it took a while since they made it fresh to order. Food service runs from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.; after that, you need to order Subway, Chili's, or other takeout. My room was on the sixth floor, and with no elevator, it was 88 steps up. The pool was another 42 steps away, so getting back to my room meant climbing well over 120 stairs. You can imagine all the trips to and from the pool, cafeteria, and other areas. The rooms were nice, the air conditioning worked, and the windows opened. A plus was being able to drink the tap water. The staff were friendly, though only one person spoke English.

I’d happily stay here for a night or longer. It’s a very safe neighborhood, the staff are extremely nice, and everything is super clean with a relaxing feel. The food is excellent, and there’s comfortable air conditioning, a great pool, and a small gym with a treadmill and dry sauna. Good for work trips or vacations.
