I thought the hotel was decent until I noticed a sign saying “no sombreros.” I don’t know whether the owners realize it, but this is Honduras, where country culture is part of life. However dressed up people may be, we’re still here, and sombreros with cowboy boots should be welcome.
2/10
Everything seemed fine during our stay, until we brought home bottles of Don Julio and put one in the freezer. It froze. Liquor shouldn’t freeze unless it’s fake or has been watered down, so that’s what I suspect. I tried to upload a photo of the bottle, but goggle wouldn’t let me. If they’re selling fake alcohol here, that’s a terrible way to run a business.
2/10
We wanted to sleep after a wedding party, but maintenance work started Saturday morning. Completely ridiculous.
10/10
Great club, with solid amenities. If you’re after upscale local nightlife, this is the spot.
8/10
The rooms were very clean, and there’s also a phenomenal cigar bar in the hotel.
