Suyapa, the chef, is an incredible cook, and her dishes are amazing. The restaurant staff were wonderful, though she wasn’t there on my last visit. I’ve stayed at Minister hotel for more than seven years, including in 2017, 2021, and at the start of 2025. My visits were usually around two weeks, but I’ve decided not to return for several reasons. I’m traveling next week and will be in Tegucigalla for three weeks, but I’ve booked another hotel. I hope they take this as constructive criticism and make changes, because it was completely different at the beginning. On my most recent stay, the service had declined. My room was outdated, with cables hanging in the bathroom. There was an opening in the bathroom wall, possibly for ventilation, and bugs came in. A gecko kept me awake all night. The safety box didn’t work, and I had to wait a long time for a replacement. I ordered a salad from the restaurant that had dirt in it, and the lettuce was yellow. The Sky lounge has also been closed for the past five years. I understand it closed for renovations during COVID, but it’s still shut. The reception staff weren’t very friendly either.

The kitchen food was good, breakfast included, though having the same thing every day could get boring. Staff were helpful and responsive, and the location right on the main road was convenient. It’s a smaller hotel, but a good one. I had a pleasant stay.

The staff were very helpful, and the facilities work well for executive meetings and small workshops. Check the room specifications before booking to make sure they fit your needs, since some meeting rooms are quite small. Some technical equipment is old or damaged, depending on which room you get.

We stayed for two nights. The design is very nice, the beds are comfortable, and the place is meant to be eco-friendly. We only stayed the second night because of the location. Parking is very limited, and there isn’t much to do inside the hotel. For the same price, I think you could find a better hotel, so I wouldn’t stay here again.

The place is accessible, the staff are friendly, and the entrees are good. There are several activities centered around alcohol. I don’t mind that, but it does show a lack of creativity.
