Really nice host, and a great place :)

Lots of privacy here, and it’s a perfect place.

The courtyard gets morning sun, but by afternoon it's shaded, barbecue area included. The pool also only gets sun in the morning, and with kids we had to top it up almost every other day. The landlord came by once during our 12 days to refill and chlorinate it. The house is on the twin islands and fairly central there, though the mainland is a long way off. Each ferry crossing costs €30, which adds up. The closest beach is a 5-8 minute drive, and walking there with children and beach gear isn't practical. There were lots of cars parked outside, but we could always find two spaces by the gate. We stayed as two families, four adults and five children, and more people would be too much unless that sofa bed, which is ready for the trash, gets replaced. The furnishings are rustic and quite old. The apartments are put together somewhat haphazardly. The mattresses are okay but not comfortable, and I wouldn't use the sofa as a bed. The downstairs apartment has a dishwasher but no washing machine; upstairs it's the other way around. The pots and pans were downstairs, with their lids upstairs.
