We stayed here in July 2019. The apartment itself was nice, but we hadn’t been told that noisy renovation work was happening in the neighboring house. Drilling, hammering and other construction noise carried on while we were trying to relax and enjoy the terrace view, and the heavy drilling in the mornings woke us early. At the end, the landlady asked us to pay for a towel she considered too dirty. I’ll leave it at that. P.S. The construction work is still going on.

I especially liked the second beach, set among a 100-year-old pine forest. It has coarse pebbles and a rugged rocky shore, but you can still get into the water. The pines keep things mild by the water even when it’s hot. The first beach has small white pebbles, so you can swim without water shoes; there’s also a bar, water playground and rentals for water activities. It takes a bit of walking to reach the beaches, though there are shortcuts ;) The apartment has a big terrace where you can barbecue, eat and take in the beautiful view over Banjole Bay. The owners live one floor below and were very welcoming. The hostess treated us to local food several times, all delicious, especially the homemade Istrian sausage and pastries. You can tell they care about making the stay pleasant. For meals out, there’s the Hotel "Del Mar" restaurant right by the water, or two others about a 10-minute walk away. Paltana Bar, across from the small harbor, had live music on some evenings. Pula also has a large amphitheater if you want to see something interesting.

We had a wonderful, restful time here. The place feels peaceful and atmospheric, surrounded by lovely greenery. The spacious apartment was very clean and smelled of lavender. Its terrace has a great view and can be reached from both the kitchen and living room. There are two bathrooms, and the kitchen is well equipped. The hosts take good care of their guests. Pebble beaches are easy to get to, and a beautiful bay with a sandy beach is a few kilometers away. There are bike trails too.
