The hotel was the best of the three we visited, and the holiday was very pleasing. It's a beautiful little place with lovely meals, views and rooms, and the staff were pleasant throughout. The group they had on later wasn't to my taste, but you can't please everyone. I preferred the musicians in the dining room, though they didn't play for long. Our guide, Xinnia Sionbhad, seemed to be the best we could have had. At our last breakfast she apologized for speaking English badly, but she spoke it very well, better than we speak Croatian! She certainly deserved the €100 tip we gave her. The drivers were all great lads too.

Anna and Renata at reception went out of their way to make our week-long stay perfect. The hotel is right in the city center, with lots of restaurants, cafes and beaches an easy walk away. Its linked restaurant gives hotel guests a good discount, and you can order from the hotel patio and eat there, which was so convenient. Loved our stay and highly recommend the hotel and its staff!

I'd strongly advise against choosing this hotel. The food was incredibly poor: two kinds of ham, some jam, yogurt, tomato, cucumbers, porridge and just one plate of fruit. There was no service at all and no stayover service, so bring extra towels, take it easy with the toilet paper, and maybe bring a hoover. Nobody was at reception, and when the young woman was there, she wasn't helpful. The location is okay, and the rooms were pretty and clean when we arrived. That's about all. I don't know how this is a four-star hotel. I'd give it two stars, and only because of the rooms.

A couple of days after I made my reservation, the hotel contacted me to say they'd made a mistake with the rates. They said they'd cancel unless I paid an extra 150€ for the night. I told them I wasn't going to pay for their error and hadn't done anything to manipulate the rates. They simply cancelled, with no apology or compensation. Then I contacted Booking customer service and didn't get a reply for days. A very bad experience, with very poor communication from the hotel.

You couldn't ask for a better location, and the staff were very nice. Still, at 250 EUR a night, we expected a lot more. Breakfast was very basic, and it was a bit disappointing that nobody suggested places worth visiting.
