Apartment Palada

You get a direct sea view from the living room, and the location is great. It’s comfortable for two, though I wouldn’t put four people here. The price feels a little high for what’s provided, and some upkeep is needed, including the lights, ceiling, and cupboards.

Really excellent apartment.

The apartment was clean, neat, and had everything we needed, with a lovely view. The downside is the music bar right below the window: people party there until 2 or 3 a.m., so it’s hard to get any rest before then.

We were very pleased with our stay, and I’d recommend the place. The staff are really friendly and helped with our bags, since parking is a few hundred meters away. The apartment isn’t cleaned every day, though. We could sit at the table and take in the mountains, beach, sea, and neighboring island through the big window. The bathroom is nice, with a large shower big enough for two to shower together. Restaurants and other useful places are close by: the nearest restaurant is 20 meters away, not counting the kebab shop downstairs, and there’s also a bakery, currency exchange, and hairdresser nearby. In the evening, music from the cocktail bar next door can get a bit loud. The sound of the sea can also be quite lively and noisy, which I actually liked. The TV has lots of channels, mostly aimed at Croatian viewers. There are plenty of local music stations, but I only found one international music channel, MTV, 00. The selection could be broader.
