Apartments Dreamland

A great host, 10/10.

There were eight of us, seven adults and a dog, and the accommodation worked really well for our group. It has four rooms, each with its own bathroom, plus a kitchen, dining room, and living room with a TV. Outside, we had a large covered terrace by the door, another terrace, and a summer kitchen with a barbecue. Parking was available, and both the regular beach and dog beach are close by.

We enjoyed the yoga camp there so much that we've already decided to return at the start of every summer. We've been twice, and it was great both times.

We stayed in January, in the middle of winter, so that may color some of our impressions. The apartment is basic but spotless and comfortable, with original furnishings and what we needed for a short stay. It would probably work for a couple staying overnight as well. Two rooms have floor-to-ceiling windows looking onto the covered patio and garden. There’s a bedroom, an open-plan kitchen with an island, and a very spacious bathroom with a high-tech shower, whirlpool tub, lights, and music. There’s private parking, and the beach is a five-minute walk away. It was wonderfully quiet both inside and outside. We even saw a deer sheltering in the neighbors' garden, though perhaps that was because it was January 5th. The center of Baska is a little far, so getting there without a car is tricky. That’s the one downside, outweighed by the rest of the stay. The peace and quiet comes at that price.
