Guest House Villa Baska

Getting to the sea at the first beach was easy, and the location is excellent. Parking was the real hassle for the second-floor apartments. At space number 9, two cars have to fit in a spot apparently reserved for people working in Baska, so if your car doesn't fit in the limited area, you risk a fine. Luckily, nothing happened because the other Italian guest and I took turns moving our cars. They park one behind the other, and only the car at the front can get out, so you have to coordinate. The apartment itself is very basic, and the beds are a little uncomfortable, though it was fine for a week. There are lots of stairs to reach the second floor, and the steps aren't even, so this may be harder for elderly guests or people with physical disabilities. The ground and first floors seem much more popular.

We had a relaxing stay in this small, charming studio. It's very clean and has cooking facilities, a fridge, Wi-Fi, satellite TV, and a little terrace. You can see the sea from both the bed and terrace, and the pebble beach is just steps away. The hostess was friendly, offered tips, and made sure we felt comfortable. The spot is peaceful, away from the bustle but still an easy walk to the promenade. It is a bit noisy inside, since we could hear the neighbors. The bed is hard, which is a matter of preference, but we felt the same way :) Thanks again, and best wishes. See you again in Baška.

From the port at Baska, it's a great base for exploring the beautiful bays along the coast to the east. The picturesque little lanes of Baska are only a two-minute walk away along the promenade, and the hotel is right by the sea.

I wouldn't recommend them. We booked through booking.com, then after driving 700 km, we called the accommodation and were told there were no rooms. We showed them the booking confirmation, but they still said there was nothing available. Luckily, we managed to book somewhere else.
