Little Summer House

The house was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and we slept wonderfully. The air conditioning worked well too. It’s right in the center of Baška, and the price, including parking, was excellent. I’d happily book again and don’t understand some of the very critical reviews.

Barbara was a lovely, helpful hostess. She replied quickly, came by to meet us, shared lots of ideas for things to do, and welcomed us with a bottle of wine. We couldn’t park right at the apartment, but rented a spot in the lot behind the church grounds and left the car there for our whole stay. Parking Centar, run by a father and son, were genuinely nice and helpful, and we’d recommend them. We stayed for just under a week in summer 2023. The apartment was clean, practical and had everything we needed, though it wasn’t luxurious. Restaurants, beaches and shops were all within walking distance. Baška is beautiful, and we met lots of lovely people. We’d gladly return. Special thanks to Barbara and the parking lot owner. 😀

The apartment on Dvori Narca Street is about 100m from the sea, and the living room with kitchenette downstairs and bedroom and bathroom upstairs are tastefully furnished. The equipment is newer, the windows and doors are new plastic, the facade is new, and the air conditioning works well. There are some drawbacks: no wifi, no welcome drink or other small gesture, and very little kitchen or bathroom equipment beyond toilet paper. The renovation feels incomplete, with mismatched furniture, a smelly shower tray siphon, and an unfinished seating area behind the house. It’s also 20m from the church bell and 200m from the parking lot.
