Sunny Baška Residence by Valamar, ex Zvonimir

We'd stayed at the Corinthia, this hotel's bigger sibling, before and liked it, but Residence was even better for us. It's smaller, so felt less crowded. The staff were lovely and attentive, including in the restaurant. The pizza chef kindly made a cheese-free pizza for my daughter, who has a dairy allergy, and reception were very helpful too. We'll definitely come back.

This was our second stay, first as a couple and now with the whole family, and we'll be back. The staff were all friendly and helpful, and the meals were delicious with plenty of variety from breakfast through dinner. We just asked the kitchen staff about dietary needs and they brought customized dishes. The location is perfect, just across a pedestrian path from the beach. We had a great time at Zvonimir hotel and will visit again soon. The food was amazing, with lots of variety, including options for different diets. The employees were kind and helpful, always smiling. The room was very clean, and the facilities were great. The beach is right in front of the hotel. Behind it, Corinthia Baška Sunny Hotel is a two-minute walk away, and you can use its pool. A couple of streets farther on, there are facilities at the camp run by the same company, free of charge. I highly recommend the hotel.

Martina welcomed us so warmly at reception that she set the tone for the whole stay. Her kindness and professionalism really made a difference. Later, when we decided at the last minute to extend our visit, Gregor and Jadranka arranged it quickly without making us change rooms. The staff were lovely throughout and went the extra mile. A special mention to the restaurant team, who made sure we left a few pounds heavier. We're 100% coming back next year!
