Lady Durda at reception gave us outstanding help when we asked to extend our stay. A big thank you to her and the great staff for making our time here so special!

Our spacious superior room was elegant and cozy, though a little too dark. It was on the first floor above the Konzum supermarket, and we could constantly hear the workers smoking in the backyard. It's a no-smoking room, but when we opened the window or terrace door it smelled like smoke. Breakfast was quite good, and the restaurant staff were really friendly. In colder weather, the neighboring hotel has a nice indoor pool open from 9am to 7pm. Wellness costs extra. The sauna was only 50 kn for an hour, so cheap! The villa is right on the beach.

Parking was included, which is a big plus in Baška since parking can be a problem. The promenade is also really beautiful, lined with all sorts of restaurants and shops. We had a clean, well-kept apartment with one bedroom and two bathrooms, one main bathroom and a small one with just a toilet. It was more than enough for two adults and two kids. Staff were nice and willing to help with whatever they could. We didn't hear the loud music that some other reviews mentioned. Breakfast and lunch were served buffet-style at Hotel Corinthia. It was okay, nothing special or fancy. Don't expect the fresh fish you'd get for 20 euros a dish at the a-la-carte restaurants. Lunch ended at 1 pm, a bit early for us, but that was clearly stated from the start, so no issue. Baska beach gets extremely crowded in season, basically packed with towels. That might suit some people, but I found it a bit much. Still, that has nothing to do with the accommodation itself. I'd give the place a straight 4 out of 5.

Baška is what made me fall for this part of Croatia, even after all my trips to Krk Island. The scenery and beach are beautiful, and the location makes it a lovely spot for a family holiday. July and August can get crowded, but I’m lucky enough to visit at other times too. I’m always glad when another trip to Baška is coming up, and I’ve just booked again.
