Holiday Home Olivia

From the terrace at sunset, the view across the Riviera was something we won’t forget. The whole place was even nicer than the photos, with a fantastic outlook toward the Riviera and mountains. Marijo met us at "OLIVIA" about an hour after we spoke, showed us around, then left us to enjoy the house on our own. The pool is bigger than it looks in the pictures, around 5m x 3.5m, and the house was spotless and had everything a vacationer could want. We unpacked, drove about 10 minutes for groceries, and came back just as the sun was setting. We’d been a little unsure about booking a vacation home online, so we drove from Berlin on a Sunday in September and stopped in Zagreb and Split. We only slept in Zagreb, but stayed in Split’s old town so we could walk around in the evening. We really enjoyed the city. On Tuesday we reached Olivia, with high expectations, and they were more than met. We’ll definitely return to this beautiful spot. Thank you, Marijo, for letting us stay at "Olivia."

The house has a personal feel, thanks to the friendly, helpful family who runs it and is always available. We spent a week here with our two children. There was plenty of room for all four of us, and it was very clean. The old house sits below the small village of Bast, tucked away with mountain scenery and complete privacy. From the terrace beside the fantastic pool, the sea view is breathtaking. We also liked how well equipped the house was, especially the outdoor kitchen. Small villages with lovely beaches and good restaurants are nearby. It was a thoroughly relaxing five-star holiday for us.

We feel completely at home here, and would highly recommend it. It’s a lovely hillside spot overlooking Basca Voda, with a private pool, outdoor kitchen, and shaded seating area, plus real peace and quiet. The place is very well equipped, including a TV, washing machine, dishwasher, barbecue, and all the small things you might need. Ideal for two.

A great choice if you have a car. The apartment is clean and roomy, with a lovely outdoor shower, and the hosts are kind and welcoming. It’s in a quiet village with mountain views nearby and the sea visible in the distance. I highly recommend it!
