Nearly two years after we booked and were left stranded late on a Sunday evening, with nobody answering the door or phone numbers, we finally got an apology and an explanation of what happened. Forget this hotel!

We were traveling with a group, and the hotel let us adjust breakfast and dinner times to fit our schedule. The manager was very friendly and helpful. It’s a nice place in a calm, lovely neighborhood, with clean, pleasant rooms. The sea is very close, and there’s a big market nearby.

We booked through Expedia, which promised easy check-in at any time, but the hotel was locked, dark, and closed when we arrived. The doorbell didn’t work. Two phone numbers posted at the main entrance went to voicemail and nobody called us back, even the next day. Expedia’s contact number wasn’t working around the clock either. At 10:30 p.m. on Sunday we had to find somewhere else to stay. Luckily we had a car and found a nice place. Useless. Thanks, Hotel Medusa!

The owners were so kind and wonderful. When I got a little sick, they took care of me, sped up the room cleaning when we needed it, and helped however they could. Thank you, beautiful people. Love from Holland, Olinka en Shannen. Both rooms we stayed in were cosy, cute, clean, and nice, with really comfortable beds. Breakfast was delicious and had plenty to choose from: fruit, good coffee, lovely petite croissants, scrambled eggs, sausages, and cheeses. The beach is a five-minute walk away, in a beautiful neighborhood with Vilas.
