If you need to be in the center of Bjelovar, the location is great. The place is simple, tidy, and clean, and the staff are helpful and very friendly.

This is now a brand-new hotel, so the earlier ratings describe how it looked and felt before. It’s a great place to stay for business or pleasure, right in the city center and within walking distance of all amenities. If it had a swimming pool and a gym on the property, the tourism department would give it 5 stars.

The staff were very friendly, and the food was good. The kids working there for the summer were polite and professional too.

The hotel’s location is an advantage, along with its hospitable, friendly, relaxed staff. Beyond that, oh my god. The rooms and hallways aren’t heated unless you switch the heat on yourself, which can be very unpleasant if you arrive at night. Some things in the rooms have a communist-era feel: old lights, some not working at all, small closets, worn blankets, and rotten towels.

The rooms could use some work. As I understood it, they’re being modernized.
