We were very happy with our holiday stay in Bol on lovely Brač. The apartment was well located, with a nice view of the Hvar Channel, and the host was pleasant and accommodating. Communication was a bit slow because she didn’t speak English. We’d expected the washing machine to be in the apartment, but it belonged to the host; borrowing the key now and then worked fine. The wifi was rather unstable. We mentioned it a couple of times, and the host restarted it, which helped. The AC was somewhat loud, and a bread knife or similar would have been useful in the kitchen. One note about the booking: we rented through Vrbo, but the other party turned out to be the Croatian apartment rental company Adriagate, which then rented the place through the host, Guest House (Apartments) Jerica.

The owner was really lovely, and the location is perfect. The room itself is a bit small, though it comes with a huge terrace.

The hostess was so rude and grumpy, and the place was filthy, especially the bed. There was a fridge outside the room, and the bathroom felt claustrophobic. I wouldn’t want anyone to end up somewhere like this. Never again!

We’ve been returning for years and are practically regulars now. The hosts take great care of their guests, and having parking right in front of the house works perfectly for our car. We especially like the apartments under the roof, with their amazing view.
