This gorgeous chalet-style villa has stunning sea views, and being up above the main street makes for lively stargazing at night. It’s easy enough to find, though the first time I took the longer route. Go up the road just past the gorgeous white chapel, then turn left at the tiny pizza shop sign and take those stairs. A sign or arrow at the bottom of the stairs would save people from going the long way, as I did. Inside, it has that old-world classic European charm, straight out of “The Talented Mr. Riley,” and makes you feel like you’re not in Kansas anymore, Toto! The pool and rooms were very clean, and Ivana was an attentive, helpful host. Room prices vary during the season. Call and book directly to avoid the surcharges built into hotel apps. Off season, single rooms are very budget-friendly.

The rooms are spacious and the views are good. Finding the place would’ve been easier if its location had been advertised as 15 minutes from the harbour. Take the coast road east, turn left by the bike hire after 200m, then go 50m up the hill. A superb family hotel.

I paid 2500, and after that they gave me a price list of extra charges when I wanted to wash my clothes. Unbelievable. I won't be back. The room was really small, and during my three weeks there they didn't change the sheets or towels; the cleaning was poor too. Hot water wasn't turned on, and breakfast wasn't very good. The staff seemed tired and underpaid, with no day off. The owner did nothing but sit around and was really rude. He also made strange comments to my 15-year-old daughter, calling her beautiful and good.

The stone architecture and outdoor pool are lovely, and the rooms are very nice. It’s a quiet spot with a great sea view, good for families or anyone wanting privacy. The staff were extremely nice. I recommend it to everyone. Today's breakfast is in the photo.

It was the only hotel in Bol that wasn't sold out in August. The rooms were okay, but the pool, breakfast, kitchenette equipment and other things were very hit and miss at best. As other reviews say, the owner shouldn't be in customer service. The other staff try their best despite him.
