Hotel Sol

Katarina and Arjan made our stay special with the kind of care you don't usually get from hotel staff. They treated guests almost like family, offering advice on restaurants, tours and holiday plans, and chatting with us. Both women were friendly and caring with everyone. We didn't meet Teodora, but I'm sure she helps the rest of the team admirably. Their efforts gave us lasting memories to take home to Australia. We booked after a brief visit to Bol earlier in the year, when the hotel looked comfortable and well located. After staying in September 2025, we knew we'd made the right choice. It ticks all the boxes for location, affordability, comfort, amenities and service. Thank you.

The room was dated, and my ground-floor room facing the pool felt very dark. Sun loungers right by the balcony meant it wasn't private. An upper-floor room might have been fine, and thankfully there is a lift. The hotel isn't easy for people with mobility issues: there's either a long, steep ramp or two long flights of steps to reception. The lift serves the rooms, but getting down to breakfast and the pool means more steps, often wet and slippery. The staff and breakfast were great, but I'm unlikely to stay again.

A fantastic place, with lovely nearby beaches and Zlatni Rat beach a 20-minute walk away. The hotel is close to the city centre, yet peaceful, and the pool area is quiet too. Our room was lovely, with a great balcony view, and the staff were super friendly. The breakfast buffet had everything you need. Amazing hotel!

Shops and cafes are only a five-minute walk away, and the hotel has a beautiful sea view. It’s flat walking around the area, and the location between Zlatani Beach and Bol Town makes it well placed for getting everywhere.
