We stayed for two weeks and had a fantastic time. The apartment had enough room, with separate rooms, a cosy kitchen and a balcony, and it was close to just about everything. A pleasant walk gets you to everything in town. The host was super friendly and always there if we needed anything, but never in the way. I can definitely recommend this place!

Recommended. A nice place in a good spot, about a five-minute walk to the village. It has two rooms, a good kitchen and even a balcony.

The balcony isn’t very useful without awnings, which is a shame. Inside, the apartment is spacious, though the furniture is a little dated. The location is ideal for getting to Sakarun, the island’s most beautiful beach, and Bozava center with all its amenities is only a few minutes’ walk away. The hosts are very kind, speak Italian, and are always ready with advice and little gifts of fruit.

Veljko is great, and the prices are reasonable for an apartment that’s partly out in the wilderness. Just a few hundred meters from Božava, there are macchia, 300-year-old olive trees, flowering bushes and lavender. It’s peaceful and makes for a great holiday. It would be even better if they tidied the area around the apartment a little.
