We finally made it in August 2023 after booking in 2020 and 2021 and having to cancel both times because of Covid. It was a wonderful week for our family, and thanks so much for letting us rent your home. There was really nothing negative for us. We actually liked having the family nearby, so please don’t let that put you off. They helped with anything we needed and even baked the most gorgeous cake. I mention it with some hesitation, since I wouldn’t want future guests to expect that every time. The villa was spotless and private, with a lovely garden and grassy area. We especially enjoyed the pool and the relaxing sun beds. The upstairs balcony had a lovely sunset view. The air conditioning was ready when we arrived, a thoughtful touch from the landlord. The kitchen was well equipped, and the location felt very secure. We also got lots of food recommendations, and when we asked about beaches, the suggestions suited what we needed. There’s a great sauna and hot tub too, though we prefer being outdoors and didn’t use them much.

We first stayed in 2019 and found the cottage really accommodating, with such good equipment that nothing seemed to be missing. We’re happy to come back. By 2021, we were here for our third summer holiday, and each year we looked forward to it again. It’s a beautiful house with an indoor whirlpool, three luxury bedrooms with private bathrooms, a well-equipped kitchen, and a carefully landscaped garden around the pool. The covered terrace has a barbecue, and cleanliness is excellent. The lovely owners regularly look after the pool. Attractions for all ages are a short distance away, and the price feels fair for what you get. We’d gladly return, and recommend it.

The house itself is really nice, but the host made this the most horrible stay I’ve had in Croatia. He lives just 50m away and seemed to watch us, coming over two or three times a day to check on us. It made the trip miserable. After the second day, he shut off the whirlpool for the rest of the week because he thought we’d been eating in it. Eating in a whirlpool is such a normal thing, by the way. We were then charged 100€ for emptying it, without getting a receipt. That left me thinking it might have been tax evasion. The neighbors played very loud music. We had to turn ours up to hear it, and then we were blamed for making noise. Seriously? Horrible. You should have accepted the 1-star review instead of speaking to your guests that way. This isn’t my personality making me give you 1 star. It’s you and your parents, walking into the house and interrupting our holiday every day, more than once. Better stay away from this house. Kind regards.

We had such a relaxing holiday here, and the villa truly has everything you need for a great vacation. The hosts were always available if we had questions or problems. Special thanks for the sensational pastry work and to Alan and his parents for welcoming us so warmly to their beautiful property. Last year, we were pleasantly surprised by the lovely ambiance.
