The biggest drawback is the steep walk uphill from the beach to the apartment. The villa sits above the shore, about 750m from the beach and city center. Downhill to central Brela took 5-10 minutes, while going back up was more like 15-20 min. We wouldn’t want to make that trip several times a day. It may suit younger, fit people or those traveling by car better. Parking is available, but you need to arrange it with the owner in advance because spaces are limited. We stayed in apartment 6. The modern room had parquet flooring, a fantastic panoramic sea view, and a balcony shared with the room next door. The bathroom was modern but very small. Towels, a hair dryer, bathrobes, simple working ACs, a small fridge, TV, and WiFi were included. There was also a shared, fully equipped kitchen with a larger fridge, oven, stove, kettle, and more. Daily cleaning was like in a hotel, and the staff were very friendly. We could have used more towels, but extra ones were available on request. The owner was very friendly but kept some distance, and was easy to reach since they live in the basement. These apartments are highly recommendable, with modern, clean rooms and high-end hotel room and service quality. For a Brela vacation, we recommend dinner at Nautica in Brela center and coffee at Gušti in Brela harbor. Sunbeds cost 8-10€ per day, and an umbrella is 8€ per day, separate from the sunbed price. We’d avoid the “high-end luxury” dining restaurants, which seemed more like tourist traps than fancy dining.
