Maestral Adults Exclusive Hotel

The food was excellent, with plenty of variety and great quality every day, and the hotel was spotless. It’s also just a short walk to the beach, so getting out to enjoy the area was easy. We felt welcome and looked after from the moment we arrived. Special thanks to Tereza, Mia and Dragica for their kindness and professionalism. Everything exceeded my expectations, and we had a wonderful stay at Hotel Maestral. I’d happily return and highly recommend it.

For a week, we waited for the better room reception had promised after we complained that a large tree blocked the sea view. They never followed up, even after I reminded them. Two lamps were broken, and we spotted silverfish in the room. The pool rules say guests can’t reserve loungers and staff will remove towels from unused ones, but people were claiming them before 7 a.m. and staff did nothing. Some loungers sat with towels on them all day, six to ten at a time, while others couldn’t get one. I raised it and still nothing changed. There was 80s pop playing at the pool, and when I asked about calmer music, I was told staff couldn’t control it. The hotel advertises the beachside loungers and cabanas as part of the hotel, but they aren’t included. Each lounger costs €30 per day, even though the hotel owns them. At checkout we raised all these issues. They offered free parking, normally €9 per day, then charged us for it anyway and stopped answering my messages about the charge. This is an okay hotel, but the service and hospitality were terrible. It feels like the owners only care about squeezing out as much money as possible, not about their guests. The sea view was disappointing, and this doesn’t feel like a 4-star hotel. 3,5 at best. I’d book somewhere else.

A calm, not too busy place to relax and enjoy the sun. Hotel Maestral is close to everything nearby, and it’s easy to spend peaceful days by the beach or pool. Great location and a nice, laid-back feel. Highly recommended.

The spa was lovely, with great treatments and products, and both dinner and breakfast were amazing. The hotel has a relaxed atmosphere and an unbeatable location, with a lovely walk along the beach in either direction. I usually went to the beach around 8 and got to enjoy a couple of hours when it was almost empty, before the crowds arrived. I loved the hotel. The staff were super nice and welcoming, though communication could use a little work. It seems best suited to couples, solo travelers, adult groups, or families with older kids. Nearby hotels had lots of families with young children.
