The location makes having a car a much better idea, since there’s nothing within walking distance. We had a decent stay at Hotel Osmolis, though breakfast was mediocre and I didn’t enjoy it much. Our room had a lovely view, and both the bed and bathroom were great. The staff were friendly, but housekeeping seemed to mean making the bed only; other areas weren’t cleaned. There were signs saying food wasn’t allowed in bedrooms, which felt odd. When we asked to borrow a bowl from breakfast, staff wouldn’t let us take anything breakable to the room, even though there were glass cups in it.

The balcony was a lovely spot, breakfast was good, and the staff were really friendly and helpful. Parking was a welcome bonus too. Hotel Osmoliš has such a striking design, simple and elegant, and the whole place feels relaxing. I especially loved showering with that breathtaking sea view. A peaceful, beautiful stay that I’d happily recommend.

The peaceful setting and beautiful views are a real draw, and Bowa restaurant is worth visiting from the beach. Still, it’s quite remote: the beach is about a mile away, and the only nearby place to eat or shop is the hotel itself. The pool felt crowded, with loungers packed close together, and rooms above the bar can get noisy.

We enjoyed drinks on the terrace while watching the sunset, and every room has a view. The buffet breakfast was enough for us, and the staff were excellent. It’s a little outside Dubrovnik, but Slano is close by, with several places to eat and an area for swimming.

We had a wonderful three-night stay, and I’d return at the first chance. The hotel is modern and beautiful, with a stunning Adriatic Sea view, a pool, and a terrace for meals. Staff were friendly and professional. Though secluded, it’s near the Old Town, and that quiet setting made our Dubrovnik stay even better. I’d recommend it.
